22.4. ESMS Supplier / Sponsor Declaration of Compliance

  1. The host country will be given a copy of the ESMS Supplier/Sponsor Declaration of Compliance (Appendix 138).  The host country will verify if such standards are covered in the host country labor laws and ensure that contractors abide by these standards.
  2. The host country will also advise ADB on any relevant labor laws and requirements that must be followed in dealing with local staff.
