Overview:
This chapter provides an overview on who attends the annual meeting, how they are invited and the process by which they are registered.
The host country role is clearly defined and a list of optional activities that may be provided by the host country is presented.
Close consultation between the ADB and the host country is required to ensure that the invite list is well coordinated and able to be handed to a PCO or booking agent for onward travel requirements.
Important Information:
- The host country and ADB coordinate closely on the list of invitees.
- Participation at the Annual Meeting is by invitation only.
- Invitations to the Annual Meeting are sent online via an eDM (email) by ADB. Online registration is encouraged over onsite registration.
- All organizations must be accredited by ADB or the host country before being invited.
- Invitations may be issued for host country restricted events, such as the host country luncheon.
- The host country may prepare a Tours Program for participants and registered accompanying guests.
- A VIP Spouses and Partners' Program may be organized by the host country but is not mandatory.
