Accreditation and Invitations

13.2. Invitations Issued by ADB

  1. Press conference and media reception. Journalists attending the Annual Meeting are welcome to attend key media events. They can also attend public events such as the opening session, business session, seminars, networking events, and signing ceremonies.
  2. President's reception. All registered participants are invited. No printed invitation is issued, but participants must wear their badges.
  3. Opening session. All participants are invited to attend the opening session, including the media. The host country may require additional security or protocol to enter with the Guest of Honor. No invitation is needed, and the host country takes care of entry and security procedures. 
  4. Luncheon for Heads of Delegations. Invitations are sent by ADB to Heads of Delegations, Alternate Governors, ADB Management and others as considered appropriate. No printed invitation is issued.
  5. Joint Secretariats Meeting or Appreciation Party (optional). The HOC provides ADB with a proposed list of invitees, and ADB provides a list of ADB invitees. ADB prepares invitations and sends them to ADB invitees, while the HOC sends them to its invitees.
