17.6. Registration Database

Once participants have registered, their personal information like names, organizations, positions, nationalities, e-mail addresses, contact numbers, registration category, dates of birth, passport or other ID numbers, among others, are stored in a secure database. ADB makes these available to the host country through an organizer's app, which can only be accessed using an assigned username and password. The provided information is useful for embassies when processing visa applications, because each embassy can cross check whether an individual applicant has actually registered to attend the Annual Meeting.
