9.2. Customs Clearance

In addition, the host country should assure expeditious clearance and processing by customs, at entry and departure, of the documents, supplies, equipment, and other goods shipped by ADB to and from the meeting venue(s). The import or export of all such items by ADB is exempt from all taxes, customs duties, and other levies and is allowed without hindrance of any kind. The host country is also expected to help facilitate the entry of equipment and other accessories needed by international media for the coverage of the Annual Meeting.
