17.1. Registration Categories

1. Registered participants fall into the following categories:
   • delegates (i.e., Governors, Alternate Governors, Governors ad interim, Temporary Alternate Governors, and Advisers)
   • observers (i.e., representatives of nonmember countries interested in joining ADB and representatives of ADB-accredited international organizations)
   • guests (i.e., representatives of financial institutions and private institutions, AFE–ADB, major consulting firms, major contractor firms, local dignitaries, and special guests, e.g., former ADB Presidents, Vice-Presidents, and Secretaries)
   • civil society organizations
   • media representatives, including technical staff, publishers, and marketing staff
   • ADB personnel
   • Host Country Secretariat
   • accompanying persons (e.g., spouses or partners, children [18 years old and above], other individuals and representatives of other corporations, as well as personal assistants such as interpreters or personal bodyguards)
   • Host country guests
   • Event suppliers and partners i.e. PCO, venue technicians, drivers etc.
