Registration

17.7. Registration Personnel

  1.  The host country is responsible for providing these 25 local staff for the registration center and to ensure they are aware of the complexities of the role.
    ADB registration personnel comprises three registration staff and two information technology staff, and about 25 registration or conference personnel clerks hired locally.
  2. The host country is responsible for providing these 25 local staff for the registration center and to ensure they are aware of the complexities of the role, are time efficient and have some experience in working within the confines of a registration center.
  3. These conference personnel should be fluent in conversational English, have good interpersonal skills, and above average computer skills.
  4. A digital app is developed and managed by ADB and made available to participants throughout the Annual Meeting. It is important that the registration personnel are trained in operating the app and downloading the app to help and encourage participants to use it throughout the Annual Meeting. Suggestion to have a cheat sheet and print out the download instructions at the counters for staff to refer to.
    A sign should also be made available throughout the registration center on how to download the app.
