15.5. Airport Security Procedures

The host country is required to provide appropriate facilities including but not limited to immigration, security, medical assistance for the disabled, and baggage facilities for the arrival and departure of ADB Annual Meeting participants. Necessary practical arrangements are also required for arrival and departure of VIPs. The ADB President is received and sent off by the Secretary or Assistant Secretary at the tarmac. ADB must be notified of airport screening procedures that will be in place for the Annual Meeting at least 3 months prior to the date of the Annual Meeting.
