16.3. Shuttle Buses

1. Shuttle buses, aside from the airport transfers to hotel and back, are required between (i) the meeting venue(s) and hotels where participants are staying; (ii) the meeting venue(s) and venues for official events, including networking and cultural events; and (iii) hotels and venues for official events. Appendix 111 contains a sample shuttle bus schedule, including a coach shuttle circuit. 
2. The host country may print a shuttle bus schedule in advance and distribute it to all participants at registration. This information is also available at the meeting venue(s) transport desk, and posted at the venue and official hotels. This should also be available in a digital format that can be downloaded by participants and easily shared. 
3. Buses must be high quality and environmentally-friendly. Refer to Eco-Friendly and Safety Features of Vehicles Checklist in Appendix 112.
