Lounge or Waiting Area outside of Board Members’ Offices
A. Governors’ Lounge
A lounge is dedicated to Governors/Heads of Delegations, where they can network among themselves and meet in between other events. Complimentary refreshments must be available all day, as well as international newspapers, a television, computer stations with internet and wi-fi. A receptionist is seated outside the entrance to the Governors’ lounge to monitor access. This lounge should be within walking distance of the main annual meeting venue.
B. Sponsors’ Lounge
Another lounge is available for host country sponsors and seminar / media sponsors of the Annual Meeting. This lounge area has cluster seating (sufficient for 5-8 cluster seating preferably in a 150-200 sq.m. room). The lounge has arm chairs, coffee tables, refreshments and a television. This lounge should be within walking distance of the main annual meeting venue.
C. Observers’ Lounge
The observers’ lounge should have three meeting rooms and a lounge area, with sofas, coffee tables and a round table, with seating, which are available for use by other international financial or development organizations. The following facilities should be available at the observers' lounge: 4 computer stations with internet, wi-fi, and complimentary coffee service. A receptionist is seated outside the entrance to the observers' lounge to monitor access, book time slots in the three meeting rooms, and take messages. This lounge should be within walking distance of the main annual meeting venue.
D. Delegates' Lounge
A lounge for all delegates, located in the foyer of the Business Session venue, is required during the Business Session. The lounge is furnished with sofas and lounge chairs or cocktail tables with facilities to serve coffee, tea, water, and cookies as specified. Appendix 56 has a sample photograph.
E. Lounge or Waiting Area outside of Board Members’ Offices
A lounge for delegates outside of the Board members’ offices is required. The lounge is equipped with sofas and lounge chairs with facilities to serve coffee, tea, chilled mineral water, and cookies as specified. Appendix 57 has a sample photograph.
