It also directs participants to meeting rooms and areas, offices, and meeting services, and serves as the contact point for lost-and-found items.
  2. The information desk, with an appropriate sign, is located at the main entrance of the meeting venue and in the Registration Center.
  3. Usually, at least two English-speaking staff members with excellent communication skills provided by the Host Country are assigned to this desk for the duration of the meeting. They should have knowledge of (i) meetings, events, and services and their locations; (ii) location of offices; (iii) local knowledge (e.g., of hotels, landmarks, and local services); and (iv) general help desk functions.  A computer and printer are available for staff to respond to e-queries sent through the Annual Meeting App.
