26.2. Printed Event Materials
- There are only four categories of printed event materials for the Annual Meeting:
- Event signage and directional signs are printed using large format and are used to brand the external areas of the event venue, arrival areas at the airport, appointed hotels, and the interior of the venue itself. All event signs should be digital whenever possible, but for large events such as the AM, it is understood that some printed signs will be required. All large format printing is provided and coordinated through the Host country. ADB provides branding guidance Chapter 5. Branding the Annual Meeting and graphic design and file preparation assistance if required.
- Delegate's materials are small printed documents that are either included within the delegates bags or given upon entering the venue. These materials are information specific and are used to provide guidance and event details (InfoMap).
- Event documentations are materials produced onsite, either to add or enhance an event itself, or to provide further information to participants. These are usually printed in sheets using photocopiers or desktop printers. It is encouraged to forgo such materials and to distribute digitally, but limited prints for general seminar or event info is allowed.
- Event souvenirs are materials produced by the Host country for the delegates. Examples of these materials are event bags, notebooks, USBs, ID lanyards, or notepads. See Chapter 5. Branding the Annual Meeting for logo use and application.
