3.1 Progress Meetings
Overview:
The purpose of progress meetings (preferably weekly) is to ensure that all parties are aware of key actions and responsibilities for the coming week(s).
The progress meeting should be driven by a clear agenda, normally prepared by the host country, circulated to all participants and relevant stakeholders in advance of the meeting.
Progress meetings benefit when they are driven by the ‘owner’ of the meeting, with active participation from other attendees. It is expected that a scribe will be nominated by the host country to provide a summary of the meeting and action points (often referred to as a “contact report”) to be circulated as soon as possible after the meeting.
