8.4. Official and Networking Events

1. The ADB Secretariat, in coordination with the Host Country Secretariat, monitors the official and networking events to be attended by the ADB President and the Chair, particularly those requiring observance of protocol. The schedule of events attended by the President and the Chair is in Appendix 66.
2. To ensure appropriate application of protocol at Annual Meetings, the ADB Secretariat, in consultation with the Protocol Coordinator, prepares protocol scenarios (Appendix 67) for major events such as the opening session, President's reception, and any high-level luncheons hosted by the Chair and or the ADB President.
3. The agreed protocol scenario should be included in the master meeting agenda and runsheet  produced in conjunction with the host country and PCO.
