8.6. Host Country Events
- For host country events, the Protocol Coordinator prepares a detailed protocol scenario (Appendix 68), in close coordination with the ADB Annual Meeting Coordinator, providing the names and titles of local VIPs attending, including spouses or partners, if applicable, and the likely role of the ADB President and Chair at such events (e.g., whether they are required to deliver a speech), at least 2 weeks before the opening of ADB offices onsite.
- The role of the ADB President and Chair should be included in the master meeting agenda and runsheet produced in conjunction with the host country or PCO.
- The preparation and delivery of invitations for host country events is the responsibility of the host country (Chapter 5. Branding the Annual Meeting).
