Introduction Host Country Role

The Annual Meeting Requirements Manual (informally referred to as the “Green Book”) sets out the main requirements of ADB’s Annual Meeting, as referred to in the Memorandum of Understanding signed by the host country Government and ADB.

It provides a detailed guide for the host country and ADB of the requirements for an Annual Meeting and the responsibilities on each side. While the requirements are fairly standard for each Annual Meeting, they may vary according to location and local conditions. The Green Book is updated yearly to incorporate new procedures or technologies.
